UK Government's Twitter strategy - using 5382 words!

(download)

To follow up my post from yesterday, more Twitter madness / reality check.

The UK Government have released their strategy for using Twitter, flowing over a 20 page template, using the aforementioned 5382 words (ignoring spaces and characters). Oh the irony.

Neil Williams, the document's author, describes himself as head of corporate digital channels at Lord Mandelson's Department for Business, Innovation and Skills: yet another wonderful department which sits under Mandy's umbrella.

Nice range of comments found here:

Animation of your tweets

A somewhat inane animation of my recent tweets, so the fact I'm writing about it...what does that say about me :-)

On a more serious note, this is yet another example of extending the twitter application via a 3rd party. Monetising this continues to be the next challenge.
